The Virginia Cavaliers head into the 2017-18 campaign looking to improve from a 2-10 start to the Bronco Mendenhall era. The Cavaliers will have Kurt Benkert back for his second year with the program, looking to improve at the quarterback position following an up-and-down track last season. He traded snaps with Matt Johns due to injury and ineffectiveness, but a solid Kurt Benkert could go a long way in helping Virginia move forward this season.
