Wake Forest entered the 2016 Military Bowl against the #24 Temple Owls as 11-point underdogs, but was backed by a strong passing effort from quarterback John Wolford en route to a 34-26 victory over the Owls. The victory over Temple capped off the first winning season for the Demon Deacons since 2008.
