InsideTheACC Video: #9 Florida State Looks to Keep Momentum Going Against Georgia Tech

In a replay of last year’s ACC Championship Game, Florida State will be hoping to take another step toward a return trip while Georgia Tech is hoping to gain back respect after a miserable 0-4 ACC start. i joined MarkRogersTV to size up two teams headed in different directions. Justin Thomas still leads the Jackets offense, but is completing just 44 percent of his passes (10 TD, 4 INT). The Tech rushing attack is still paramount and decent at eighth in the nation in yardage, but nothing close to its usual devastating self. Thomas leads the attack on the ground for a second straight year, but is only averaging 3.3 yards per carry. Dalvin Cook has saved Florida State from a few possible upsets and played himself into some Heisman talk. Everett Golson has shaken the turnover issues of 2014, but something isn’t quite right with the Seminoles offense with marginal scoring efforts to show against the likes of South Florida and Wake Forest. Last week’s second half vs a strong Louisville defense, may be a sign that FSU is ready to break out in preparation for its showdown at Clemson. First, the Noles must contend with a beaten down, but dangerous Georgia Tech on Homecoming in Atlanta.
