ACC Football Recruiting Round-Up July 30th

As summer camps begin to wrap-up across the ACC, we bring you once again our daily analysis of all of the most recent recruiting news acorss the conference.

Three-star defensive tackle Jabari Ellis still describes his recruitment as “wide open” at this time and seems to be in no rush to make a decision. The 6’5″ lineman out of South Carolina holds offers from multiple schools, but just finished up a recruiting visit with the extremely active Miami Hurricanes. Ellis said that he came away impressed with the campus and coaching staff, but still plans to take time to evaluate options that also include Penn State, South Carolina, Minnesota, Appalachian State, and Charlotte.

White, a five-star 2018 running back recruit, already has offers from Ohio State, Oregon, Wisconsin, and South Carolina outside of the ACC, while he has also fielded offers from Florida State, Clemson, and Virginia Tech inside the conference. While still early in the process, Duke will get a visit with one of the nation’s most coveted 2018 recruits.

It’ll be between two ACC schools for an ESPN three-star running back out of North Carolina. Scout lists him as the top athlete in the state, and after a long recruiting process, Neal’s decision will be made known this weekend.

Syracuse Lands Three-Star FS Monquavion Brinson

According to Rivals, Monquavion Brinson, a three-star prospect out of Mays, Georgia, has committed to Syracuse. Despite never visiting the campus, Brinson felt as if he established a strong rapport with the coaching staff of Syracuse and did not want to waste any time making his decision about where he was going to play college football. Brinson is the 12th recruit of the 2016 class for the Orange, and is currently the highest rating recruit of the group.

Theo Anderson, a 2016 three-star recruit and the number one ranked fullback according to Rivals, has visited Pitt for the second time this summer and views the Panthers as one of the top schools on his list. He would like to make a decision by August 14th, but if he is not ready, he has said in recent days that he will delay his choice. Anderson holds offers from numerous division one schools and has visited Alabama, Wisconsin, Florida, and North Carolina in addition to Pittsburgh this summer.
