Football season is much closer than we think as we traverse through the middle of June. Athlon Sports has released its Top 25 rankings for the 2017 college football season, and there are several ACC teams that made the cut in the preseason rankings from the college football magazine.
Coming in at No. 18 in Athlon’s 2017-18 Preseason Poll is the Louisville Cardinals. Led by reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson, the Cardinals will look to build on a largely successful 2016-17 campaign that had them in the mix for a College Football Playoff berth for the majority of the season. Can the Cardinals quell the issues on their offensive line and become a more complete team this season?
