Reports: Former UVA Signal Caller Lambert Heading To Georgia

According to 247 Sports and multiple media reports, it has been confirmed that former University of Virginia quarterback Greyson Lambert is transferring to the University of Georgia.

Lambert, who was released from his scholarship with the Cavaliers last week, passed for over 1,600 yards with 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season. He began to seek other opportunities this off-season after losing his starting job late in 2014 to Matt Johns. Lambert will be able to play immediately and will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Bulldogs, as he looks to compete in a wide open quarterback battle for Mark Richt’s squad heading into 2015.
