Road To Signing Day 2014

The “Road To Signing Day 2014” is a report on how each school in the Atlantic Coast Conference is doing in class of 2014 football recruiting.  Throughout this recruiting year, all the way up until Signing Day next February, we’ll provide the latest commitment updates and rankings for each ACC program.

Since the most recent report posted on May 9, Boston College, Duke, Miami and N.C. State have gained commitments in the class of 2014.  Duke scored in a major way by landing three prospects, bringing its total number of high school senior commits to nine.  N.C. State landed two players including a highly regarded quarterback, while Boston College and Miami each landed one.

With nine recruits apiece, Boston College, Duke, and Florida State lead the conference in terms of the amount of commitments.  Miami and Virginia Tech are next with eight commitments each.  UNC follows with seven pledges at this point in the process.

Below is a compilation of how each school in the Atlantic Coast Conference is faring.  Note that Maryland is no longer in the listing because of the fact that they will move to the Big 10 in the 2014 season.  Louisville is not listed either because they are not yet in the ACC.  Included in each player listing is the player’s name, position, school (and school location), and the player’s highest star rating among the four national recruiting outlets (Rivals, Scout, ESPN, 247).  Later in the year, the star rating will be an average of the four national sites.
